Performance

A real revolution has been taking place in the LED industry to build LEDs that are truly strong enough to replace HIP/HPS lights and deliver greater results.  Summit Grow Labs has exclusive light spectrums that specifically target the light plants need during different stages of photosynthesis.  Summit Grow LEDs have two settings, one for the vegetative stage and one for the bloom stage.  These settings deliver the exact light spectrums your plants need resulting in larger yields and higher quality crops.

While Summit's exclusive spectrum is very important it would not do any good if the light was not strong enough to reach the plant.  PAR (photosynthetically active radiation), designates the spectral range (wave band) of solar radiation from 400 to 700 nanometers that photosynthetic organisms are able to use in the process of photosynthesis.  Its this Par number that we measure in umols to determine the strength on the light in the targeted wave band.  Summit Grow LEDs have the PAR value that is better than any other light available. At 18" from the plant our XP300 measures a PAR value of 1150 umols.

Low Heat 

In the past HID/HPS lighting has been the industry standard for indoor gardening. The biggest flaws with HID/HPS lighting is the large consumption energy and high production of heat.  To combat this, growers are required to water more frequently and provide additional cooling. 

Summit Grow LEDs on the other hand only raise ambient conditions 3-5 degrees in your grow lab so you won't need to worry about any additional cooling.  These cooler temperatures are more gentle on the plants and cut down on water and nutrient consumption.  

Ease of Use

Summit Grow LEDs couldn't be simpler to use.  With individual settings for vegetative and bloom grow cycles you can easily switch between the two.  It can be difficult to work under the red/blue spectrum of LED bloom grow lights.  To eliminate this problem our vegetative light is a white Cree COB light, so even when you are in bloom mode you can switch over to vegetative mode while working on your plants without disrupting the light cycle.
